“No, it’s not fine,” Chris said, sighing again. “You don’t deserve to be treated like s---, Mason!” He exhaled shakily, burying his face in his friend’s hair.
-
Mason didn’t respond, face buried in his friend’s shirt. ‘Please, just drop it,’ he mumbled.
-
Chris hugged Mason closer, lifting his head after a moment. “Fine. But if anyone gives you any more trouble, you tell me, okay?” He spoke softly, stroking the back of his friend’s head for a moment.
(that’s kinda gay, chris- lol) -
Mason nodded, giving a small but weak smile. ‘Okay,’ he mumbled, leaning into his touch.
-
Chris smiled a little, hugging Mason close. He doesn’t deserve this, he’s too kind, too nice, too adorable- He flushed red at his thoughts, not sure if his own mind meant that or not. “So uh, you- you wanna head to my place?” He asked quietly, looking down at his friend in his arms.
(that’s really gay, chris- lmao) -
Mason nodded, arms moving to wrap around his torso. ‘Yeah, let’s do that.’
-
Chris smiled a little as he hugged Mason close, continuing to walk. They made it outside, walking over to his friend’s car. “Do you want me to drive?” He asked softy, rubbing his back for a moment.
-
Mason gave a small smile and nodded. ‘You sure you’re not gonna crash it though~?’ he teased, trying to distract himself.
-
“Oh, piss off- I won’t crash your car,” Chris said, laughing. “That- This last time wasn’t even my fault! It was the other driver!!”
-
Mason laughed, opening the door to the passenger seat. ‘Well, if it happens again you’re paying.’
-
“Yeah, yeah, I know,” Chris said, chuckling as he got into the driver’s seat. He buckled up and started the car, waiting for Mason to settle in before pulling out.
-
Mason smiled and pulled up his legs in the seat, crossing them and looking out the window.
-
Chris reached over and turned on the radio, pulling on some music. He hummed softly as he drove, focusing on the road.
-
Mason looked at Chris with a small smile. He put his school bag on the ground below the console.
-
They soon arrived back at Chris’s house and he parked Mason’s car in the driveway, seeing no cars. “Hm, guess my parents are both out,” he said, unbuckling and getting out of the car.
