“I’ll probably have to, if I wanna make the game,” Chris said, crossing his arms over his chest. “But I really need the money for a new car- f---,” he whined, leaning against Mason’s side.

'I can lend you some money, if you want,' Mason offered, slowly wrapping an arm around him. 'I have a pretty good paying job.'

“No, no, you already do too much for me, Mason,” Chris said, flashing his friend a smile. “I’ll be fine, I’m pretty close anyways- It’ll be fine~”

Mason gave a small smile. 'If you're sure,' he said.

“If I do need money, I’ll let you know, okay?” Chris said, looking over at his friend.

'Alright,' Mason said with a small smile, playing with the ends of his hair.

Chris hummed as he pulled out his phone, checking the time. “Wow, didn’t even realize how early we were,” he said, chuckling softly as he absentmindedly leaned into Mason’s side.

Mason blushed lightly and nodded. 'Yeah, we're pretty early.'

Chris hummed softly as he scrolled through his socials, leaning his head against the locker.

Mason smiled, rubbing his back with his thumb. 'You, er, you look nice today.

Chris’s face heated up a little and he smiled, wrapping an arm around Mason’s shoulder. “Thanks, you too, bro~”

Mason gave a weak smile and looked away. He did not want to be Chris's "bro". -

Chris’s smile faltered a little, seeing Mason’s expression. “You okay?” He asked, rubbing his arm for a moment. -

Chris watched Mason for a moment before nodding, gently squeezing his arm. He looked back down at his phone, chuckling ag a random meme.
