"this crossword is harder than I thought. I'll have to get out my dictionary." Octavia said. The cafeteria started filling up.

Adrienne groaned softly as the sudden surge of noise, pulling on their headphones and putting on music. They subconsciously scooted closer to Octavia’s side, taking another bite of the fruit.

Octavia looked down at her crossword intently now to make sure that she didn't stare at Adrienne as she noticed them getting slightly closer.

Adrienne hummed softly to the music as they took another bite, staring at the fruit cup.

Octavia looked at the clock before quickly looking back to her crossword. It was 10 minutes till the bell. Octavia wished she had a watch so she could Tell the time without looking up and noticing that Adrienne was in Octavia's personal space bubble.

Adrienne soon finished off the fruit cup and got up, throwing it out. They walked back over, sitting down in their original spot. “Not the biggest fan of those fruit cups, but they’re okay.”

"My least favorite part of those things are the grapes. It just doesn't fit in with the rest of the fruits." Octavia said.

“That’s true, but grapes are hella fire,” Adrienne said with a chuckle, brushing their bangs out of their face. “Especially the purple ones, when they’re crunchy and crisp.”

"I like the weird looking grapes. I think they're called moon drop grapes." Octavia said thinking of the long grapes her sister liked to buy.

“Ooh, those sound cool- I dunno if I’ve ever tried those ones before,” Adrienne replied, crossing their arms over their chest.

"they're sort of chewy. If you ever get a chance to try them I recommend them." Octavia said. She looked at the clock. 3 minutes till the bell.

“I guess I’ll have to, then~” Adrienne said with a smirk, watching Octavia for a moment.

Octavia decided she'd leave two minutes before the bell and started packing away her things. She has to get to class on time and on time was early.

Adrienne watched Octavia begin to pack up her things, frowning a little. “Y’know you don’t have to leave yet, right?”

"I need to be there early. Soon enough the hallways will start crowding. I hate elbowing my way through the hallways." Octavia said. She hated how cramped the halls were in the first place
