Adrienne walked into the cafeteria, seeing Octavia sat at a table, They walked over, sitting down beside her. “Morning,” they said quietly, yawning.

"oh, good morning Adrienne. You're here early." Octavia said, looking up from her crossword.

“Yeah, I got up early so I figured I’d get to school earlier,” Adrienne replied, chuckling softly. They yawned again and rested their arms on the table, resting their head on their arms.

"it's important to wake up early to get a good breakfast. I had lucky charms this morning." Octavia said she looked towards Adrienne.

“I haven’t eaten anything,” Adrienne said, glancing over at Octavia. “I don’t usually eat breakfast, never have the appetite in the morning.”

"You should eat. It's incredibly unhealthy to start you day with an empty stomach. eventually your stomach will start hurting whenever you get hungry if you don't eat for long periods of time." Octavia said.

“I mean, I’m kind of used to it by now,” Adrienne replied, shrugging.

"you'll end up ruining your stomach lining. hold on." Octavia said. she then took a fruit cup out of her bag and handed it to Adrienne.

“Oh, uh, thanks,” Adrienne replied, taking the fruit cup. “You uh, you got a spoon or fork or something?”

Octavia took a spork out of a side pocket of her bag. "I also have applesauce if you want more to eat after the fruit cup." Ocatvia said.

“Nah, can’t eat applesause,” Adrienne replied, shuddering a little. “f---in’ despise the texture, makes me want to vomit.” They opened the fruit cup and ate a bite, staring at the cup.

"I can understand that. It kind of looks like barf." Octavia said she looked back to her crossword and furrowed her brow at the question.

“Facts,” Adrienne said with a chuckle, taking another bite of the fruit.

"do you know what an image with only one color in various different shades is called?" Octavia asked. She had no vocabulary word for this one

“Uhhh, no-“ Adrienne thought for a moment, then shook their head. “No, sorry- Don’t know a word for that.”
