Nick giggled a little bit, turning to face Karl. “Yeah, I have. But, I mean, I was going to no matter what.” He shrugged. “They were suspended for two days and came back.” He was trying to not mention the fact that they had been trying to get him kicked off the basketball team, because it really didn’t matter, since they failed in their efforts. -
imsoclueless Senior"Damn- They certainly deserve more than a two-day suspension," Karl muttered, rolling his eyes. "Our school really is s---, isn't it?" He giggled, leaning against the back of the couch while facing Nick. He grabbed one of his hands, gently squeezing it. "You know what the worst thing about this place is? Well, besides not getting to be with you-"

Nick nodded in agreement, chuckling. He took Karl’s hand, speeding it gently in return. “What’s that?”

imsoclueless Senior"That I still have to do school work-" Karl let out a groan, leaning forward and resting his forehead on Nick's shoulder. "Like, what?! I'm supposed to be fixing my mental health, not making it worse," he joked in a pouty voice, stifling his giggles.

“What? This place isn’t just a vacation from all your problems??” Nick said jokingly, wrapping an arm around Karl’s shoulders. “Have you befriended anyone here, yet?”

I've been hanging out with this one girl, Zoe- her family life was kinda similar to mine, so we bonded over complaining about that," he added, chuckling.

imsoclueless SeniorKarl smiled, curling close to Nick's side. "How's school been for you? Other than it being a literal nightmare, because it's school," he asked, wrapping an arm around his boyfriend's waist.

imsoclueless Senior"I wish I could be sitting in class doing nothing, just texting you~" Karl spoke, resting his head on his boyfriend's shoulder. "It sucks that I may have to miss the rest of the school year- I wanted to be able to spend it with you."

“I know, me too,” Nick said with a small, sad smile. He pressed a kiss onto the brunettes forehead. “But I’m happy you’re getting help and getting better. Who cares about school, y’know?”
