imsoclueless SeniorKarl nodded, sniffling. He rubbed his eyes again before moving his arms around Nick, clinging to him. He rested his chin on his shoulder, burying his face in his neck.

“I love you, honey,” Nick said softly, holding him close and rubbing his back gently.

imsoclueless Senior"I love you too, hun," Karl whispered softly as he slightly lifted his head, taking a few deep breaths to calm himself. He let out a tired yawn, closing his eyes.

Karl laid in Nick's arms, still awake. Mind running at a mile a minute. His hands were shaking as he scratched fiercely at his knuckles, his heart pounding. It's getting worse, I-I'm not- I'm not okay, I'm panicking- He carefully slid out of Nick's arms and climbed out of bed, his entire body shaking as he walked out of the room. He carefully shut the door and looked around, walking to the bathroom. I-I need to calm d-down, f---- He leaned over the sink counter, staring at his reflection in the mirror. Tired. Starved. Broken. He looked over at the shower and his eyes were drawn to a razor sat on the ledge, his heart beating furiously. He almost took a step forward before stopping himself, tears in his eyes. I can't stay here, I- I need to go, he thought in a panic, flipping off the lights and walking shakily out of the bathroom. He shakily pulled out his phone, looking up the location of the nearest emergency care center. He trudged into the foyer of the house and slid on his shoes with trembling, setting his phone down on a table nearby. He unlocked the front door and walked outside, making his way to the urgent care center. He soon arrived and walked inside, tears in his eyes as he was worriedly greeted by two people at the front desk. "I- I don't feel safe, w-with myself. P-Please, I- I can't-" He tried to get out words, but his mind was too foggy with fear. He later found himself sat in an office with his doctor, discussing the plan to go to a mental health institution.

Nick woke up, taking a moment to realize that Karl wasn’t laying with him. He just assumed he was in the bathroom, so he let himself wake up a bit for a few minutes. Once he realized it was a weird amount of time to be in the bathroom in the morning, he stood up and walked over to the door. He knocked on a few times, his heart dropping once he saw the door creak open, and none of the lights were on. Well, s---. That’s not a great sign. He quickly exited his room, being greeted by his mom in the kitchen. “Have- have you seen Karl?” He asked, trying to stay calm, because he doesn’t actually know what’s happening.

"Well, how about a good morning to your mother?" Nick's mother joked, smiling as she looked up from her phone and over at her son. "No, I haven't, actually. Are you looking for him?" -

Nick nodded shakily. “He- um, wasn’t doing well last night and he’s- he’s disappeared. I can’t find him.” -
imsoclueless SeniorNick's mother stood, noticing the panic rising in his son. "Okay, uhm- Let's not panic, okay honey? How about you give him a call, or message him, okay?" She suggested, resting her hand on his arm.

“Oh, yeah, okay,” Nick said, grabbing his phone from his room and messaging Karl, his hands starting to tremble.

Nick's mom turns her head when she hears a buzzing, walking into the foyer. She walked over to the small table where her keys sat, seeing a phone buzzing with Nick's number calling. "Nick, hun?" She calls, grabbing the phone. -

“Yes?” Nick said hopefully, walking out to where she was. His face dropped when he saw Karl’s phone. “Wait- no- what? s---, what do I do?” Nick said, struggling to breathe as he tried to think. -

Nick's mother exhaled and walked over to her son, wrapping her arms around him. "I- I don't know, hun, but we'll figure out what's going on, okay?" She spoke, rubbing his back. -

“f---- Mom, what if he’s dead in a ditch somewhere?” Nick said quietly, hesitantly wrapping his arms around her.
