Karl smiled and met Nick's eyes, watching him for a moment. "How are you, hun? I'm- I'm sure you were so worried about me, which- again, I'm so, so sorry for doing," he spoke, bringing a hand up to cup his face and rubbing his cheek with his thumb. -

“It’s okay,” Nick said softly, leaning into Karl’s touch and placing a hand over his boyfriend’s. “I mean, not great? I’ve missed you. A lot. Ms. Gerber (i made up a name for the guidance counselor hope it’s okay ^^’) keeps wanting to talk to me and it’s getting kind of annoying,” He chuckled quietly, studying the brunette as he spoke. -

Karl giggled, nodding. "Yeah, she's just concerned, always wanting to help," he spoke, smiling. "I- I really do wish I could go home with you, but-" He exhaled, looking down for a moment. "I still have a ways to go, mental health wise, and I'm- I'm worried going home may just make things worse. Not that you're the problem! I promise, you've done nothing but help and I'm so grateful for you~" -

Nick nodded in understanding. “Yeah, I get it. Ms. Gerber said you’d be in here for like, two to three months?” He hated the thought of that. That means Karl would get out just before graduation. And he’d miss prom, and probably Nick getting accepted into college. And senior picnic and senior ditch day- and the list goes on and on and on. -
imsoclueless Senior"I know, I- I'm really upset I'll have to miss so much stuff," Karl said with a sigh, leaning back into Nick and wrapping his arms around him. "Prom, the senior picnic, senior ditch day-" He let out a shaky breath, tears welling in his eyes. "f---, I- I just want to be with you so much..."

“Hey, hey, breathe,” Nick said softly, wrapping his arms around Karl and holding him close. “Trust me, you won’t be missing on too much, okay?” That was probably true, since neither of them were too liked in the school anymore, but still.

I just, hate that I have to miss this. Hate that I have to miss being with you~" He leaned forward and pressed a kiss on his lips, pulling him close.

Nick smiled a little, kissing Karl back for a moment before pulling away. “I know, I hate that you’re not gonna be there. It’s gonna suck.”

"Yeah, that sounds great~" Karl replied with a smile, guiding Nick over to a nearby couch. He sat down with him, turning to face his boyfriend. "Have you had any more problems with Ryder and Jared? If so, I will personally break out of here and throw hands with them," he joked, giggling.
