imsoclueless SeniorKarl ran down the hall and out of the front office, rushing out of the school building and over to Nick's car. He fumbled with his boyfriend's keys and unlocked the door, grabbing his bag from inside. He closed the door and ran, booking it down the street as he sobbed. I'm such a f---ing idiot, I don't know why I ever thought I'd have a chance...
“KARL!” Nick yelled, continuing to run after him, ignoring as he got tired and keeping Karl in sight. “Please come back!”
Karl ignored Nick's shouts, continuing to run until he felt like he was going to pass out. He soon found himself at the park they always hang out at, walking inside. He stood in the middle of the park area and crumpled to the floor, dropping his bag and curling into a ball. Maybe I should just- leave this world... He thought, tears streaming down his face for, what, the 5th time today?

Nick caught up to the park, rushing in and moving in front of Karl and wrapping his arms around him. “Please- Please don’t k-ll yourself-“ He said in a weak voice, breathing heavily.

Karl leaned into Nick's arms, sobbing quietly. "I-I'm just, so tired of this, Nick..." -
“I know- I know you are,” Nick said, pulling away only enough to look Karl in the eyes. “But, but please promise you won’t do anything, okay? You have so much more to live for- so much life ahead of you without any of this!”

imsoclueless SeniorKarl met eyes with Nick, tears streaming down his face. "I-I really d-don't, honestly-" He leaned forward, burying his face in Nick's chest. "E-Everyone would b-be better off w-without me..."

“No!” Nick said softly, wrapping his arms around Karl as tightly as he could. “Karl, you are literally my whole life. I literally can’t imagine life without you. The people who might be ‘better off’ are all f---ing s---heads who don’t deserve to know you in the first place.”

imsoclueless Senior"I-It's just s-so f---ing hard, b-baby," Karl spoke through his tears, lifting his face a bit. He looked up at Nick, exhaling shakily and speaking after a moment of silence. "I-I think I need h-help, like, fr-from a therapist."

Nick nodded quickly. “Yeah, Karl, I think you do. That’s a good idea,” He rubbed his back gently. “Can we head back to the school and see what we can do?”

“Okay, c’mon, hun,” Nick said softly, keeping his arms wrapped around Karl as best he could while they awkwardly walked back. “Man, you ran pretty far, huh? I didn’t know you were that fast,” He said softly, pressing a kiss onto his boyfriends head.

imsoclueless SeniorKarl giggled softly, bringing a hand up to run his eyes. "I guess I did, huh," he spoke quietly, resting his head on Nick's shoulder. "Maybe- Maybe I should've joined track or something~"

“Literally, I would’ve been so impressed if I hadn’t been scared to death,” Nick said with a chuckle. “You outran me by a lot.”

Karl giggled again, leaning close to Nick's side. "I'm sorry for scaring you so much," he spoke in a quiet voice, looking down at their feet. "I'm just- Not in a great headspace right now..." -

“I know you’re not,” Nick said softly, pressing a kiss onto the side of his head. “And I know you weren’t trying to purposely scare me.” -
