Callisto stood up straight, smirking. ‘So, Mahina and the human. You saw my note?’

Ernest nodded. "Yeah. Where's Selene?"

‘She’s fine.’

"Where is she?" Ernie repeated.

Callisto rolled her eyes. ‘She’ll be here, ok?’

"Fine. What do you want with us?"

‘Let’s make a trade. A person for a person?’

"What?" Ernest sounded in utter disbelief.

Callisto smirked. ‘You heard me.’

"What... What do you mean by that? What's the tradeoff?"

‘Well, you might never see Mahina again, but that’s a minor issue.’
Mahina stepped closer to Ernest. ‘I’m not going with you.’ -
"Not if Mahina doesn't want to." Ernest shook his head. "It's not my choice to make."

"It's not my choice to make." Ernie repeated, looking at Mahina.
