Ernie pulled away reluctantly before kissing her nose.

Mahina smiled weakly, before turning to Callisto. ‘I-I’m ready.’

"Finally." Callisto smirked.

"I'll see you soon, I promise." Ernie whispered.

Mahina nodded.

"Do you want me to walk you to her?" Ernie asked softly.

Mahina shook her head and took a step forward.

Ernest stayed behind, trying not to start crying.

Callisto smirked as Mahina stood next to her.
‘Selene will be at her cottage by the time you get back, human.’ -
Ernie glared. "Fine." He muttered.

Callisto grabbed Mahina’s wrist, and they both disappeared.
