Jayden cupped his head and tilted it so he could look him in the eye. "Deep breaths, Chester." He repeated softly, rubbing his cheek gently with his thumb.

Chester did as he said, leaning into his touch and taking a few deep breaths. ‘O-Okay…’ he mumbled, grip on his relaxing slightly. ‘Wh-Where would it be?’

"Maybe your room?" Jayd asked with a shrug.

Chester pulled away from him and ran to his room. In a span of seconds he’d rummaged through the cupboard and his clothes were strewn on the floor, then his suitcase and the unused set of drawers.

Jayden chased after him, helping him look for the watch. He couldn't find it. "Goddamn it." He muttered.

Chester buried his face in his hands, sitting down on the floor. ‘Where is it?’ he cried. Astrid walked in, frowning.
‘Can you two quiet down? What the heck is going on?’ -
Jayd sat down next to Chester, looking up at Astrid. "He lost his watch." He said simply, shooting Astrid a look showing that he was on Jayden's radar for where it could've gone.

‘You mean the broken one?’ Astrid said. He rolled his eyes and left, then came back in a few moments later. ‘God, you’re so dramatic. Here.’ He chuckled the repaired watch to Jayden.

Jayd caught it, giving Astrid a confused 'whyyy would you do this, what's the catch?' look before handing it to Chester.
(It's really late so I'm gonna log off, cya!) -
(Fair enough lol, gn!)
Chester took the watch, staring at it for a moment before looking up at Astrid. ‘Y-You fixed it?’
‘No, but I know a pretty good repair shop. You’re welcome,’ Astrid said, turning towards the door.
‘W-Why?’ -
"Because." Astrid answered, seemingly defensive in an odd way. He went for the door again.

Chester smiled, looking down at his pocket watch. He snuggled into Jayden.

(I'm online, but not for long)
Astrid walked out. Jayden looked at Chester, wrapping his arm around him, looking at the pocket watch. -
Chester snuggled to Jayden happily.

Jayd let him. "Do you think this is his way of thanking you for telling him about Beatrice?" He thought out loud.
