Jayden hesitated before answering. "I turn you in to the papers for attacking my brother. Maybe I'll tell them more, depending on what you do to him. And I send you home." He didn't like threatening his boyfriend, but this seemed so unlike Chester. It worried- no, more than that, it scared him- that he was acting like this.

Chester watched him, scowl disappearing. He looked shocked, and even a little scared. ‘You wouldn’t,’ he said, grip on his sword tightening.

"Please. Just stop." Jayden begged.

Chester frowned and glanced at Astrid. He shouted in frustration and threw it sword down, then stormed out of the dining room.

Jayd glanced back at Astrid, picking the sword up. "You owe me." He said before walking off to make sure Chester was ok.

Chester stormed into Jayden’s room, slamming the door behind him, then into the bathroom and slammed that door too.

Jayd opened the door, walking in. He winced as he heard the bathroom door slam so loud.

Chester sat in the corner, face buried in his hands.

Jayden walked to the bathroom door. "Chester?" He asked softly.
(Dammit, gtg now, dunno when I'll be back, but I'll be back!) -
(Alr, cya!)
Chester had thrown the sheath against the wall. He turned away from Jayden as he came in. ‘Go away,’ he mumbled. -
Jayd didn't go away. He leaned against the doorway. He wanted to talk to Chester about what just happened, but he knew he needed to calm down first.

Chester sniffed, not turning around to face him.

Jayden sat next to him, not saying a word. He hated the silence, but he didn't want to upset Chester by saying the wrong thing.

Chester leaned against him. ‘I’m sorry. I-I don’t know what happened…’

Jayd hesitated before saying anything. He didn't want to brush it off and say it was fine, since it wasn't, but he didn't want to make him feel any worse than he already felt. "We can talk about it later, ok?"
