Chester stepped forward and took his hand.

Jayd gave a small smile before turning back to his letter.

Chester sat next to him on the ground, holding his hand tightly.

Jayden squeezed his hand. "Hey, you can loosen your grip." He said quietly. "You're hurting my hand a little."

Chester loosened his grip. ‘Sorry, ‘ he mumbled.

"It's ok." Jayden eventually finished the letter, sealing it and standing up to go and give it to Neo.

Chester stood too.

Jayden walked out of the room. Neo was standing by the door. "Hey, can you send this to Naomi?"
Neo nodded. "Of course." -
Neo walked off. Chester looked at Jayden. ‘Who’s Naomi?’

"She runs one of the best repair shops in the kingdom." Jayden answered. "I wrote a letter asking for her to fix your watch. We can go there tomorrow and give her the pieces, if that's ok."

Chester nodded. ‘Alright,’ he said quietly,

Jayd didn't like how quiet he was being, but he didn't say anything about it. He just squeezed his hand gently.

Chester intertwined their fingers. ‘Do you want me to move rooms?’

"I... I don't know. You can if you want to." Jayden said quietly.

‘But do you want me do?’ Chester said quietly. ‘I will if you do. I understand.’
