Jayden sat there in silence for a bit, not realizing he was crying until the tears were running down his cheek. He wiped them quickly before getting up. He wanted to find Chester and apologize.

Chester clasped his hands together. Had he failed as a boyfriend? If only he hadn’t gone out into the garden at that moment in time, or he hadn’t bumped a wrong lever as a teenager. If only he’d been better, more smart, more grounded.

Jayd walked around the hall looking for Chester before he got to the garden.

Chester kept crying, face buried in his hands. He couldn’t think straight. What had Jayden done to deserve him? How bad of a boyfriend really was he?

Jayden found him in the gardens, crying. He hated it when Chester cried, especially when it was over him. He sat next to Chester, wrapping an arm around him. -
(I mean obviously 🌈✨ That’s why Jayden is so hyper he was never straight xD)
Chester glanced at him, then looked away. He wiped his eyes furiously, not wanting to let Jayden see him cry. -
(Yesss 🏳️🌈✨💅 perfect)
Jayd grabbed Chester’s hands to stop him. “It’s ok.” He whispered. “I’m sorry I made you so upset.” -
Chester shook his head, looking down at their hands. ‘I-I can’t lose you, Jayden,’ he whispered, eyes welling up.

Jayden cupped Chester’s cheek in his hand gently and tilted it so he could look him in the eye. “you’re not losing me, Chester.” He promised.

Chester reluctantly looked at him. ‘Are you sure? Because you don’t trust me enough to tell me about a simple board meeting.’

Jayd sighed. “I have refused to tell you. I’m sorry. But that’s not because I don’t trust you, I promise.”

‘Then what is it about?’ Chester said, growing more anxious and more frustrated.

Jayden sighed. “If I tell you- if I tell anyone- I’ll be forced to be dethroned.” He admit slowly. Now he was the one avoiding eye contact.

Chester stared at him a moment, his mouth slightly open in shock. ‘You- what?’ he said, his feelings of anger melting away. ‘No way your board can do that, right?’

“Apparently they can.” Jayd gave a small nod before looking up at Chester slowly.
