“I’m sorry.” Jayden wrapped him in a hug.

Chester sniffled, burying his face in Jayden’s shoulder.

Jayden kissed the top of his head.

Chester sighed. ‘Jayden?’

"Yeah?" Jayden asked softly.

‘Do you believe him?’

"Huh?" Jayden pulled away slightly to look his boyfriend in the eyes.

‘Do you think I’m a brat?’ Chester mumbled, avoiding his gaze. ‘That I’m a stupid baby?’

"No. Not at all." Jayd held his cheek in his hand.

Chester leaned into his touch. ‘Do you think those breakdowns are normal?’
