Jayden thought about that. He didn't think they were fully normal... But considering these were Astrid-induced breakdowns, he didn't question it too much. "Well... no... but kinda..."

‘Kinda?’ Chester said quietly. ‘They used to happen more…. I didn’t think too much of it.’

"Well, they're not quite normal, but neither are you, love." Jayd smiled softly. "Used to?"

Chester smiled softly. ‘Is that a compliment?’ he murmured. ‘Yeah, used to. Not so much now…’

"Yeah it is." Jayden chuckled. "I'm sorry they used to happen more."

‘Yeah…’ Chester mumbled. He didn’t mention the amount of pills it took that Oliver had prescribed him to make them stop, but he figured it was a minor detail.

Jayd wrapped Chester back in the hug.
(Gonna go, I'll hopefully be back, but no promises!) -

Chester smiled, nuzzling into him. -
Jayden kissed his nose.

Chester sighed, resting his head on Jayden’s shoulder.

Jayd let him, not saying anything.

Chester glanced up at him, arms around him. ‘Can I ask you something else?’

"Yeah." Jayden nodded. "What's up?"

‘Can you tell me what happened with the board now?’ he murmured. ‘I came partially to support you, but I don’t know what to support you about.’

"I... Well..." Jayden sighed. "I want to tell you, I really do. I just... I can't."
