Chester turned his head away from Astrid, not wanting to contribute to the conversation. ‘Just go away,’ he mumbled.

Astrid glared. “No, Cottontail.”
Jayden sighed. “Just talk to him already. Why do I have to leave?” -
‘We have some… private things to discuss. Now, Cottontail, let go of your little boy and come talk to me.’

Jayd glared, before turning to Chester. “If I stay, would you want to talk to him?” He whispered. “Or do you just not want to talk to him?”

‘I just want him to leave,’ Chester mumbled, feeling for his watch in his pocket.

“Ok.” Jayden looked up at Astrid. “Get out before I get the guards.”
“Oh, as if they’d answer to you over me.” Astrid smirked. -
Chester sighed, keeping one hand on his pocket and burying his face in Jayden’s shoulder. He felt like such a coward.
‘What a crybaby. Jayden, tell your brat to get up now.’ -
“He’s not a crybaby, or a brat, and no. I’m not forcing him to do anything.” He glared. “Get out of my room.”

‘He is, Jayden. Too bad his parents aren’t around to rock him to sleep,’ Astrid said, watching Chester with a smirk. He could tell he was getting to him.

“Neo!” Jayden yelled. That was the last straw for him.
(Gonna go now, bye!) -

Neo walked inside. ‘Yes, sire?’
Astrid grinned wickedly. ‘What’s wrong, Jayden? Finding it hard to babysit?’ -
Jayd ignored Astrid. "Neo, escort my brother out of my room."

Neo raised an eyebrow but nodded his head and obliged. He held Astrid’s wrists behind his back.

Astrid tried to wrestle out of his grip.
“Don’t even try it, sir.” -
Astrid growled but let Neo shove him out of the room. ‘See you soon, little brat.’
