Jayden leaned into him.

Chester let him, rubbing his back. ‘You okay, love?’
There was a knock at the door. Oliver opened it. Cleverly stood in the doorway. -
Jayd nodded before seeing Cleverly. His grip on Chester tightened.

Chester noticed this. He held him close.
‘Sire, we should start packing the carriage now,’ Cleverly said. -
Jayden sighed softly, not wanting him to go. He looked up at his boyfriend, letting go slightly so he could leave if he wanted to.

Chester held him close. 'Give us five minutes,' he told Cleverly.

Cleverly nodded.
"I can help you put your stuff in." Jayden offered quickly. -
Chester kissed his cheek and nodded. 'Oliver, Maeve, could you give us some privacy for a moment?'

Maeve nodded, already dragging Oliver out. "Gladly."

Chester chuckled as the door shut. He held Jayden tightly. 'I'm gonna miss you,' he mumbled.

Jayden held him tightly too, burying his face in Chester's shirt. He didn't say anything.

Chester gave a weak smile. 'Love, look at me.'

Jayd looked at him. "Yeah?"

Chester traced his face with his thumb. 'You're beautiful,' he said softly. 'Don't be sad I'm going. I don't want you to be sad.'

Jayden leaned into his touch, smiling weakly. "I'm not sad." He lied.
