Jayd smiled weakly. "Thank you." He let go of Chester eventually, opening his eyes. -
(*dies* YW
SLAY KING)
Chester sighed softly, arms moving to hold his hands. ‘I love you. So, so much. More than anything. I’ll see you as soon as possible, okay?’ He slowly let go of his hands. -
(*gets reincarnated* YAYYYYY
IKRRRR)
Jayden squeezed his hands before letting go of them as well. "I love you more. I'll be there if anything happens." He kissed Chester's nose. -
(YASSSSS)
Chester gave a small smile, nuzzling his nose against Jayden’s. He sighed softly, then took a step away from him. ‘Me too. Just one letter and I’ll be here, okay?’ -
(SLAYYYYYYY)
Jayd let him, smiling weakly. "Okay, love." He said before waving. "See you!" -
Chester knew he wasn’t that happy. He gave a sad smile and gazed at him for a final moment, then turned around and walked down to the carriage. He opened the carriage door and climbed inside, then sat down and watched Jayden out of the window.

Jayden kept waving until the carriage left, wishing he could chase after him.

Chester waved too, trying to blink back tears. When the castle was out of sight, he looked down, burying his face in his hands. Oliver put a hand on his shoulder. Maeve looked up at Jayden, waving slightly, then disappeared.

Jayden waved back at Maeve before sighing and shoving his hands in his pockets before leaving.
(do you want to timeskip to the whole birthday vacation thingy or just end it here and do that in the library stuff?) -

(Fair enough, so you want to keep going? I’m thinking either Chester comes back to see Jayden or he has a crisis bc things get worse with his sickness thing and Oliver writes to Jayden or smth)
