'That's not a real smile, love,' Chester said quietly, kissing his forehead.

Jayden sighed, holding him tighter. "I know." He mumbled. "I'm sorry, I'm being such a baby-"

‘Hey, you’re not being a baby. You have every right to be sad. I’m sad too.’

Jayd shook his head. "I'm ruining it, though."

Chester kissed his nose. ‘Ruining what?’

"The moment." Jayden pulled away. "C'mon, I need to help you put everything away.

Chester pulled him back close. ‘Love, you’re not ruining anything. It’s gonna be a sad moment,’ he said, raking his fingers through his hair. ‘Just let me hold you for a bit, please.’

Jayd sighed, holding him tightly.

Chester held him close, resting his chin on top of Jayden’s head. ‘I love you, okay? And I don’t care that you’re sad. If you weren’t, I’d be concerned.’

Jayden looked up at him. "I guess. But I don't want to make you sadder than you already are."

‘I don’t want you to pretend you’re happy. Being sad is okay,’ Chester said, kissing his forehead.

No it isn't. I need to be happy for you. Otherwise I'm just a huge disappointment-
Jayd gave a very forced, small smile. "I suppose." -
Chester sat down and pulled Jayden into his lap so he could hold him easier. He kissed his cheek, arms around his waist. ‘I love you, okay?’

Jayden let him, his face buried on Chester's torso. "I love you too."

Chester gently rubbed his back. He kissed the top of his head. ‘You’re so precious,’ he mumbled, holding him tightly. ‘Ugh, are you sure I can’t just put you in my suitcase and take you with me? Cleverly doesn’t have to know…’
