Jayd let Chester pull him back in. "But don't you want to think about this while I'm not in the room?" He asked weakly.

Chester shook his head. ‘Not really do you want me to?’

Jayden sighed softly. "No." He mumbled.

Chester gave a soft smile. He gently kissed Jayden’s cheek, even though he couldn’t stop the doubts creeping in. ‘Come on, it’s about time for lunch.’

Jayd blushed. "Alright." He pulled away from Chester to stand up, offering him his hand.

Chester smiled softly and took his hand, squeezing it gently. He opened the door.

Jayden followed him. "Chester?"

‘Yeah?’ Chester said softly, looking behind him at Jayden.

"I'm sorry. For making you feel like I was trying to manipulate you just then." He looked down at his shoes, not wanting to see the hurt on Chester's face if he still had those feelings.

Chester’s face fell. He’d been trying so hard to hold it together, but now he just snapped. He let go of Jayden, burying his face in his hands.

Jayden looked up at him the second he let go of his hands. He didn't know if saying anything would make it worse, so he just stood there, thinking of something to say that wasn't 'you ok?' since he obviously wasn't.

Chester leaned against the wall and sunk to the ground, just sobbing. Like a pathetic, clingy little bunny. ‘I-I’m sorry,’ he mumbled, trying to calm himself down.

Jayd kneeled down next to him, wrapping him in a tight hug. "Hey, I've got you." He murmured, trying to sound as soothing as he could. "It's not your fault, I don't blame you."

Chester leaned into him, sobbing into his shirt. ‘I’m sorry…’ he repeated, wrapping his arms around him tightly.
