Chester frowned. ‘What if what, hun?’ he asked softly.

Jayden shook his head. "Nothing. Forget I said anything." He buried his face in Chester's shirt. "God, we're such wrecks today."

Chester gave a small smile. He ran his fingers through Jayden’s hair. ‘Can you please tell me?’ he asked gently against the top of Jayden’s head.

"I'm scared that I'll control you-" Jayden mumbled, taking a deep breath. "I'm scared that I'll control you and I'll like it. I'm scared that I'll do it, and feel an adrenaline rush and do it again, and again, and again. I'm scared that I'll find some sort of justification for it every time." He looked up at Chester, scared of what his reaction was going to be. "Happy?"

Chester watched him. He let his fingers rake through Jayden’s hair, expression unreadable. He averted his gaze and rested his chin on top of his boyfriend’s hair, frowning slightly. He didn’t respond

Jayden didn't say anything for a bit, trying to figure out what Chester was feeling, but he couldn't tell. "Chester?" He asked weakly.

‘Yeah?’ Chester mumbled, refusing to look at him.

Jayden didn't answer for a bit before pulling away from him slowly. "I-I can leave. To give you some time to think."

Chester shook his head, pulling him closer. ‘No, please don’t leave,’ he mumbled.

"Aren't you upset?" Jayd asked weakly, letting him.

Chester shook his head. ‘You were just voicing your worries. I trust you not to do that. Why would I be upset?’

"Because I just told you I was worried I'd like controlling you. You have every right to be upset, it's an upsetting thought."
