"okay, let's go!" Florence shouted excitedly before mimicking the droning sound of an airplane and jumping out of the window to glide safely to the ground as sparks occasionally shot out from under his yellow wings

Collins chuckled and jogged down to the exit.

Florence danced around on all six and mimicked fun notes on an accordion while waiting for Collins

Collins jogged towards the exit and walked to the front field of the hospital where Florence was.

Florence mimicked a cheerful tune on an accordion before rolling over in the grass whenever he saw Collins. Whenever he rolled he even managed to dislodge the syringe just a bit.

Collins smiled, watching him. 'You ready to go?' she asked, slinging her satchel over her shoulder.

"yes!" Florence shouted excitedly as he mimicked a trumpet. He danced around on his arms impatiently

Collins laughed. 'Come on, then,' she said, turning towards the path and taking a few steps. 'Try to stay quiet.'

Florence trotted along behind Collins, mimicking the occasional passing bird as they approach a mostly empty city street.

Collins smiled, kicking a pebble in front of her. 'So you've never been outside the facility?' she asked.

"I wasn't allowed to be. They said the world wasn't ready for me." Florence said as he scratched at his wing. He almost had ahold of the syringe.

‘They’re… not wrong, I guess. Let’s just hope nobody sees you,’ Collins said, looking around.

"I hope not, they'll get all scared." Florence said as he shook his wings. He was determined to get the syringe dislodged from his wing.

Collins gave a weak smile. ‘Yeah. I’m sorry you have to deal with that, though. It’s not fair.’

"it's alright. You have nothing to apologize for." Florence said cheerfully. He was using two of his hands to scratch at the area near the syringe as he felt it drifting out of his wing.
