Florence looked at Collins phone. He liked the light. He started mimicking the fish video.

Collins chuckled, moving it slightly so he could see. ‘Okay, this way,’ she said, taking a right.

Florence followed behind carefully and he jumped happily at the sight of a large fence. He flapped his wings and mimicked the chirping of a finch.

Collins laughed quietly and put her phone in her pocket. ‘We’re here,’ she said, walking over to the entrance. ‘And it’s closed.’

"woohoo!" Florence exclaimed before jumping up and running in a circle

Collins laughed, slipping her phone into her pocket. ‘We’re lucky it’s in a secluded part of town.’

"I'm so excited!" Florence shouted before mimicking a rooster. He then extended his hand to Collins.

Collins grinned. She was about to take his hand before hesitating. ‘Are you still, y’know, electricky? You saw what happened to that dumpster back there.’

"let's check." Florence said. It then touched the metal fence. Nothing happened. He chirped happily.

Collins smiled and took his hand. ‘Alright then,’ she said.

Florence jumped up then started to fly. He circled around trying to get just enough momentum to get higher than the fence. He glided over the zoo walls then landed neatly beside the botanical garden portion of the zoo.

Collins squealed when he started to fly and clung to his hand as if her life depended on it, which it probably did. She sighed in relief once they were back on the ground. ‘A-Alright, what do you want to see first?’

"ferrets! Maybe the pink bird too. I've never seen them bef- WHAT IS THAT!" Florence shouted. He pointed with two of his arms to a giraffe's head peaking out from behind a tree

Collins followed his gaze and laughed. ‘That’s a giraffe. Come see!’ she said, jogging to where the large animal was kept.

Florence bounced along behind Collins mimicking all sorts of new sounds he heard along the way.
