"no one cleaned much after the head researcher left." Florence said as he finished his orange. He mimicked the squeaking of wheels.

‘That makes sense. But still, it’s a hazard,’ Collins said, wrapping up the remainder of her sandwich and putting it in her satchel.

"this place has always been like that. I remember once I stepped on a wire in the water and my eyes glowed like lightbulbs for a week." Florence said as he mimicked the buzzing of a florescent light.

‘Like in the cartoons?’ Collins asked. ‘I didn’t think that could actually happen.’ She stood up and stepped over a piece of glass.

"yeah, apparently the water was filled with electricity so if I wasn't resistant to it I would've died." Florence said. He finished the orange.

‘That’s cool. I mean, obviously not, but the part about the glowing eyes,’ Collins said.

"yeah, I like how it looks when my eyes glow." Florence said before proudly displaying his wings as they sparked like broken power lines

Collins smiled. ‘I’d imagine it’d be pretty cool,’ she said, looking at his wings, then back at Florence. ‘Are you sure the electricity doesn’t hurt?’

"I love the way electricity feels usually." Florence said before mimicking the buzzing sound of all the electricity buzzing around him.

'That's weird, because if somebody's shocked at 100 volts it probably won't end well for them,' Collins said, watching Florence curiously.

"well, I've never really been bad with electricity. I like to feel it on my teeth." Florence said. He mimicked a crunching noise.

Collins nodded and listened to him, before looking around. ‘Do you think John’s coming back anytime soon?’

"I don't think so. I think I made him mad somehow." Florence said. His ears drooped.

‘Because you wouldn’t go to the other facility with him?’ Colin’s asked softly.

"I don't like living in facilities. I don't get to see the sun in facilities and it smells like rubbing alcohol." Florence said before mimicking the sound of a spray bottle
