Collins blinked. ‘I’d appreciate it if you didn’t eat my cards,’ she said with a sheepish chuckle. She spread out the cards in her hands. ‘Pick a card, any card. I’ve got a magic trick.’

Florence grabbed a card and showed it to Collins.

Collins chuckled. ‘No, you’re not supposed to show me the card,’ she said. ‘Now put it back and pick another.’

"oh okay." Florence said before grabbing another card and hiding it in all four of his hands

Collins smiled. ‘Good,’ she said, then gathered the cards into a pile and held it out to him with the ace of spades facing him. ‘Now put your card in the pile with the little picture in front of you,’ she said, closing her eyes so she couldn’t see in case he flashed the card the wrong way.

Florence put in his card, which was a red joker.

‘Alright, now I’m going to mix the deck up,’ she said. She halved the deck of cards and put the bottom half on top of the top, then did it again. ‘Impossible to find your card, right? Since it’s not on the bottom anymore and I don’t know what it is.’

"no, you just put it in half then back together again. I knew a researcher that could find a needle anywhere he placed it as long as he was the one who placed it." Florence stated

Collins blinked. ‘I’m not sure that’s how the trick works,’ she said. She split it again two more times. ‘There is that better?’

"I guess." Florence said. He mimicked the sound of a car starting.

‘Alright?’ Collins spread out her cards so that the pictures were facing her. She looked through the cards then pulled out a red joker. ‘Was this your card?’ she asked, not entirely sure herself.

"yeah, but I don't know how that's magical." Florence said. He then mimicked the sound of paper tearing.

‘It’s not. It’s a trick meant to fool people,’ Collins said with a shrug.

"oh, then Its a very nice trick!" Florence exclaimed happily. He mimicked a small bell.

Collins grinned. ‘That’s good! I don’t have enough people to try it on.’
