"Lets go!" Jonah said, standing up. -
Valako walked back into her house and opened her mom's drawer full of keys

Jonah followed, waiting by the doorway for Valako

She rummaged through the drawers until she found the strange blue key

"Did you find it?" Jonah asked, holding the door open for her.

"yep." Valako said, holding up the blue key. She walked out and looked towards the treeline

Jonah grinned, following her. "Alright, lets go!"

Valako walked towards the treeline and looked out to the town. She locked eyes with a 4 year old who ran away. Valako sighed

Jonah noticed Valako seeming sad. "4 year olds are scared of everything." He said, though he knew that wouldn't make her feel much better.

"I know." Valako said

"I'm sorry." Jonah mumbled, looking at the ground.

"It'll happen no matter what I do, it's fine." Valako said

"It's not fine, it's cruel." Jonah said, looking her in the eye. "You know you don't deserve that, right?"

"I know. It will never change." Valako said
