"I like thinking about a person from town actually being my friend instead of just being scared of me." Valako said

"I'm your friend, aren't I?" Jonah asked with a small smile.

"yeah, I just like to think about having lots of friends. It's comforting." Valako said

"I get it. Having lots of friends is pretty cool." Jonah said with a shrug.

"I've always wanted a friend group." Valako said

Jonah shrugged. "It's fun I suppose." He said with a smile.

"there's so many cool things to do as a group, and I'll probably never be able to experience them." Valako said

"Hey, I'll try and get you a friend group someday." Jonah said quietly.

"It's a nice thought." Valako said

Jonah gave a small smile, not saying anything more.

"I should probably look through the key drawer." Valako said

"Ooo, why?" Jonah asked curiously.

"Well, the keys go to all sorts of things, one time I heard my mom mumble water tower at one of the keys." Valako said

"So then we could go to the water tower!" Jonah finished excitedly.
