"the colors are really nice in my opinion, though, I bet you can't guess what my favorite artist is." Valako said grinning mischievously under her veil

"Picasso?" He asked, remembering she like abstract art.

"nope, but it is an abstract artist. I'll give you a hint, he's an American artist." Valako said. The artist she liked was semi popular but she wouldn't say it was an easy guess

"Albers?" Jonah asked, vaguely remembering one of his old art teachers had oodles of copies of his art.

"Nope, albers is technically German. You have one more guess before I tell you." Valako said. She giggled.

"Um... Pollock?" Jonah asked, his mind listing other abstract artists. "Is your favorite artist still alive?"

She gasped. "How did you figure it out? I love Pollock's works" Valako said. She could look at Pollock's iconic paint splatters for hours

"His art's so cool!" Jonah agreed, grinning. "Best paint spatters of all time."

"I can't get enough of it, and to top it off it's textured art. The only way it could get cooler is if it was an interactive exhibit." Valako said. She was gushing over those paint splatters

"An interactive exhibit on it would be perfect!" Jonah said, chuckling at how much the two were rambling on Pollock.

"I've always wanted to actually see an interactive exhibit. They get sold out crazy fast. Imagine walking in art." Valako said. She used to have dreams about walking into paintings

Jonah smiled. "I remember going to an interactive one for art class once. I still don't know how they managed to get all the tickets." He remembered how fun it was, even though most of the kids were goofing off.

"how did it feel to be part of the art?" Valako asked. It was a very interesting thought. Being one part of the art

"So cool. I'll never forget it." Jonah said, smiling as he remembered everything about the day. It was easily one of his best memories.

"that's so cool. I'm jealous. I almost got to go to on in los Angeles once. My mom had ordered tickets and everything." Valako said. She then remembered the reason that she couldn't go. Maybe she shouldn't mention that. She didn't want someone else knowing about her mom's "condition" that was too personal even for her to tell Jonah.
