Jonah laid down next to her, looking at the clouds.

"have you ever been hated?" Valako asked almost out of the blue.

"That's one of the reasons why I moved here." Jonah said after a bit. "There were rumors- horrible things about me and my dad. We decided to move because of it. Among other reasons."

"what did they say? If you don't mind me asking." Valako said

"Just stupid things. My parents divorced, and everyone decided it was their job to find out why. I only heard bits and pieces, but one kid said they thought my dad was a criminal and that's why they divorced. Super stupid stuff."

"that sucks." Valako said

Jonah shrugged. "I mean, that's one of the reasons why I left, so yeah." He still thought it wasn't nearly as bad as what Valako went through every day.

"they practically chased you away from your home, it's terrible." Valako said. She tore up a blade of grass as she watched the sky

"I suppose so. I mean, at least I got to meet you...." Jonah said with a small smile.

"it is very nice we got to meet." Valako said, looking at jonah

Jonah blushed, and he gave a full smile. "I agree."

"y'know, I don't think I told you about my least favorite artist." Valako said

"Oh, who's that?" He said curiously.

"anish Kapoor." Valako said mimicking of voice of Timmy's dad from fairly odd parents.

"But he made The Bean!" Jonah protested, chuckling.
