“Everyday.” Eli admit quietly.

Eli nodded. “Yeah….” They stared up at the ceiling again.

'You know that's not OK, right? That it's wrong and you don't deserve it?'

“Yeah.” Eli lied, still looking up at the ceiling,

'Are you sure?'

“Yeah I’m sure.” Eli lied again. “Geez, you’re so insistent.”

Callum frowned and sat next to his friend. 'Then why don't you seem like it?'

“It’s nothing.” Eli said. “Just me getting into my own head.”

'Do you want to talk about it?'

They shook their head. “I’m fine. Thanks for caring though.” Eli said, smiling slightly.

'As your official friend, it's my job to care,' Callum smiled.

“Fair enough.” Eli said, giving a full smile this time.

Callum yawned. 'It's late. I don't care what you dated me to do, let's just say I failed,' he said, moving off Eli's bed to lay down on the sleeping bad.
