Eli caught it, glad that they didn't drop it and break the chips. They opened it and ate some.

Callum grabbed some chips for himself and closed the pantry

Eli leaned against the counter. "So what now?"

At that moment, Claudia walked in. She looked a bit alarm there was a human woman standing in her kitchen.

"Callum, who is this?" Claudia asked.
"My mom." Eli said, looking at her apologetically. "It's a long story." -
Claudia looked at Eli, then Callum, then Eli's mum. 'Alright,' she said, very confused.

Eli's mom gave a small wave. "Nice to meet you." She said extending a hand out. "Sorry this is such an... Odd way of meeting."

Claudia nodded. She shook Eli's mum's hand.

Eli looked at Callum. "Do we just stand here while they introduce themselves or...?"

Callum shrugged. 'Let's go up to my room?'

Eli nodded. "Yes please. If that's alright with you mom?" They checked, and she nodded.

'C'mon,' Callum said, beginning to walk out the kitchen.

Eli followed Callum out, petting a few cats on the way.

Callum still held Miffy. He walked upstairs.

Eli followed, getting used to the absurd amount of stairs leading up to Callum's room.
