'What are you talking about!' Eli's mum exclaimed.

"Alternate reality where cats talk and there are rainbow flowers and free chips and everything is great." Eli blurted.

Callum blinked. Eli's mother's jaw dropped.
'Wha-!' -
"Ugh, none of this is making sense, is it?" Eli mumbled. "Just... forget this ever happened?..."

'But you just appeared out of nothing!!'

"I suppose I did..." Eli said with a small nod before looking at Callum. "Do you know how to hypnotize people?" They whispered hopefully.

Callum shook his head.

"Darn..." Eli muttered. "Look, there's an entirely different world that we can teleport to, and there are talking cats and it's the best."

'Eli, are you OK?' Eli's mother asked, feeling dizzy. 'Do you need to rest your head or something?'

"No, I'm fine." Eli said, shaking their head and sitting down on their bed.

'Eli, what is going on?'

"Alternate reality. Me and Callum teleport there. It's the best."

'Are you sure you don't need to rest your head?'

"Nope, I'm feeling great actually." Eli said with a small laugh despite themself.
