Eli picked Umbreon up. "You're gonna go back to the boring normal world!"

Umbreon mewed angrily.

"It'll be fun!" Eli insisted.

Umbreon tried to jump out of Eli's arms.

Eli held Umbreon tighter. "Quick, lets do this Callum."

Callum grabbed Eli's shoulder and they disappeared, back into Eli's room, where Eli's mother screamed.

"Oh no." Eli muttered under their breath, setting Umbreon down. "Uh... Hi mom."

Eli's mum was dumbfounded. 'How did- Wha- How-!' she stuttered.

"X-men powers." Eli blurted, looking at Callum apologetically, wanting to know if they were allowed to tell her the truth or not.

'X-Men?!' Eli's mum shouted. 'What on Earth is going on?!'

"Uh... That's a- a great question." Eli mumbled nervously, looking at Callum again. "Can we tell her?" They mouthed.

Callum looked up at Eli's mum with wide eyes, then at Eli and nodded weakly.

Eli tried to think of a way to explain it without sounding like a maniac. "Well.... you know those alternate realities in movies?"
