(this is gonna be my last post bc i gotta go to sleep. its 12.55pm rn)
Heath opens the wallet to find a fair bit of money, a gold pocket watch, and a photograph of who is probably the man's wife or perhaps his mother. a prostitute notices the gold pocket watch in Heaths hands and struts over to sit on the table he's at. "i don't believe i've seen you here before," she says with a wink "care to join me upstairs?" she reaches to grab his face but he stands up and puts the wallet back in his pocket. "i'm good, i was just leaving actually." he trips over his feet on his was out the door and the prostitute covers her mouth while giggling. -
Echo wasn't sure where she was running, but all she knew was that she needed to get away. She kept running until she reached a saloon, where she bumped into a boy about her age, maybe older.
(All good. I forgot to add age in the character sheet, so Echo will be 14) -
(alr heath can be like, 16-18. idk)
"well hello there." Heath looked down at the frantic girl trying to get into the saloon. "what brings you here?" -
Echo stumbled backwards, glaring up at the boy. 'A kid called Nunya Business, you know him?' she said sarcastically. 'Good day.' And she walked straight past him, down the street.

"oof, feisty." Heath slings his backpack onto his shoulder and heads toward the woods to get some fresh air away from all of the people with money

Echo continued walking until she got lost and found herself back at the saloon. She noticed the older boy walking away, so she ran to catch up with him. 'Do you know how to get out of the city?' she asked casually, straightening her dress. -
"why?" he grins, "didn't you just insult me and then run off?" he straightens his jacket and kneels down a bit to be at eye level with Echo

Echo narrowed her eyes at him. 'I don't need a recap. Now talk.'

Heath raises his arms in mock surrender "yeah yeah ok. you should be able to get out here through the woods. i can take you there if you want, that's where i was just heading actually." -
(she's just generally rude 🤣)
'Alright,' Echo said, quite happy with herself. 'Let's go, then.' -
he leads her toward the woods, but not without making some light conversation. "so, what's your name, beautiful?"
(bro that was so cringe🤦 idk how guys act lol. i don't pay attention to them) -

Echo was unfazed by what was either a compliment or an attempt at flirting. 'Nunya Beeswax. But you can call me Nunya,' she said sarcastically. -
"alright, Nunya." Heath attempts to prevent himself from laughing, but it doesn't work out so well. "why do you want to leave the city?'

'Earlier I said I was looking for a kid called Nunya Business,' Echo responding, not looking at him. She remained quite sarcastic, not wanting to let this stranger know too much.
