Echo glared but didn't talk any more, keeping her eyes in front of her in irritation.

Heath picked up the tiny pebble and tosses it at Echo, and it ends up hitting her shoulder, then he chooses a different rock to kick, chuckling to himself

Echo glanced at the rock as it fell to the ground, rubbing her shoulder. 'What was that for!?'

"just cuz," he grins and continues walking along, but without the rock. head held high and swaying side to side

'Because what?' Echo pressed, growing more annoyed by the moment.

"because it was funny." he waits for a few seconds, then pushes Echo into a bush with his shoulder. he stands over he and laughs as if it's the funniest thing in the world, then holds his hand out to help her up

'You little-' Echo muttered, though cut herself off and stood back up, not taking Heath's hand. She brushed herself off and kicked him in the groin; really hard, too. -
"ow, ugh." "i need to sit down for a moment." he sits down, and then flops over on his back, just laying there half laughing, half crying for a few minutes
(i do that to my brothers all the timeš¤£ it's the only way to get them to stop being obnoxious sometimes lol) -

Echo sat down next to him, a sly smirk on her face, but didn't say anything. -
after the pain subsided a bit, he picked himself up off the ground and gathered his belongings, laughing. "ok, lets get going, we want to make some distance before it gets too dark"

Echo stood up, still smirking a little, and waited for Heath to keep walking.

Heath puts his hands in his pockets, walking along the trail, and sees a fork in the trail, an offshoot that wasn't there before, but both trails look identical. "hmm, that's odd..."
