The next couple of weeks passed until the next van full of people arrived.

Kai looked at Amira hopefully. "Maybe it's your family." He said softly.

Amira smiled but didn't let her hopes get up to high.

The van doors opened and a bunch of people walked out.

Amira looked around, her heart hammering in her chest. She scanned around but could not see anyone she knew, not yet.

After a ton of people filed out of the van there was one girl about Aaron's age with red eyes like she'd been crying.

Amira followed Kai's gaze to her little sister. She ran over to the gates and waved frantically. "Dalia!" she shouted.

"Amira!" The girl- Dalia- said happily, running to her.

Amira picked up her little sister and hugged her tight. She looked around for her parents but couldn't see them. "Dali, where's our parents?"

Dalia's eyes filled with tears and she shook her head, hugging Amira tighter.

Amira gasped and clamped her hand over her mouth. She forced her tears back and squeezed Dalia's hand.

Dalia burst into tears. Aaron looked at Kai with sadness and fear.
"Is that going to happen to mom and grandad?" He asked, eyes filled with tears. -
Amira glanced at Kai. "I'm going to take her to my hut, and get her something to eat, I'll see you later" she gave a wobbly smile.
