Nat rolled her eyes and returned her head to Nik's shoulder, poking her tongue out playfully at Leo.

“Haha, I’m laughing soooo hard.” Nik said sarcastically, though not meaning it rude.

Leo chuckled. 'So, how'd you two meet?'

“We crashed into each other in school rushing to class.” Nik explained.

'Aw. That's romantic,' Leo said with a smile.

Nik blushed again. “I suppose so. Er-yeah it was.”

'What happened after that?' Leo asked, growing interested.

“Well, we met up at lunch and then after school we went to her house.” Nik explained.

'And what happened there?'

“We watched Star Wars, and then after that it got kinda late, so I was walking back home with Nat when the foster agent people started following her, so I let her in my house.” He decided to avoid the whole situation with his mom and looked at Natsuki. “Im not leaving anything important out, right?”

Natsuki thought for a moment, then shook her head.

“Phew good.” Nik said, smiling. “So that’s what went down.”

Leo smiled. 'That's cute. And you've been together since?'

“We’re not together.” Nik stuttered. “At least, we haven’t really said anything about it yet.”

'Right,' Leo said, but was, interrupted by Ming, who'd found a book about giraffe called Gerald.
'Read this one!' she nagged.
