Natsuki pursed her lips and looked away, returning her hands to on top of her knees.
(When do you wanna timeskip to after school?) -
(Maybe in like 3 posts or smth)
Leo looked at Ming hopefully, trying to think of a way to make Nat feel better. “Knock knock?” -
(alrighty)
Nat signed, and Ming translated, 'Who's there?' -
“Suspense.” Leo responded, grinning.

Nat didn't have to sign a response. 'Suspense who?' Ming asked.

Leo didn’t say anything for a few seconds. “Get it? Because the fact that I’m not talking is suspenseful! I know, I know I’m hilarious.”

Natsuki gave a small smirk of amusement, but Ming looked confused.
'What does suspense mean?' the little girl asked, at which Nat's smile grew. -
“You know the little scared and curious feeling you get when you watch a movie?” Leo asked, smiling as he tried to explain it. “That’s suspense.”

'Ohhh,' Ming said, nodding.

A couple hours (and horrible jokes) later, the door opened and Nikolai walked in.

Before Nat could react, Ming jumped up and wrapped her arms around Nik's waist.
'It's Nat's just-a-friend!' the little girl said happily. Natsuki chuckled.

Nik chuckled. “Hi Ming. Hi Nat.” He said, grinning from ear to ear. -
Natsuki gave a small wave, and Ming finally let go of Nik and returned to her sister's side.

“Who are you?” Nik asked Leo.
“Oh, I’m Leo.” He said, grinning. -
Natsuki watched as the two conversed. Ming grabbed a doll from the ground and turned it over in her hands, before growing bored of it and chucking it back on the ground.
