Leo's face fell slightly. "6 months." He said quietly, then plastered another smile on his face, "But most people only stay for like a month maximum."

Natsuki blinked a few times, tucking her phone on her pocket. She tilted her head sympathetically at him, giving a small sad smile.

"I don't need your pity." Leo said, though not sounding rude about it. "Thank you though."

Natsuki nodded and leaned against her pillow, stroking Ming's hand softly, making sure not to pull it and hurt her.

Leo kept hanging from his bed and fiddled with his hair.
"So.......... How are you today?" -
Natsuki just chuckled and shrugged.

"I'm hoping that means you're alright."

Natsuki nodded, though she couldn't stop thinking about Nik and the look on his face when she left. She forced a smile at Leo, still stroking Ming's hair.

"That's a fake smile, I know that much." Leo frowned, sitting upright. "What's wrong?"

Natsuki's smile was replaced with a sigh. She looked away, swallowing the sob in her throat that could emerge at any moment.

"You don't have to tell me if you don't want to, it's obviously a pretty touchy subject."

Natsuki fiddled with her hands, nodding once, still not looking at Leo.

"What can I do to help?" Leo asked quietly.

Natsuki shrugged, still fiddling. She checked the time on her phone, 9:38am. 5 hours till Nik could come.

"There's gotta be SOMETHING that can help with." Leo said.
