Natsuki squeaked, watching as the foster agent took a few more steps towards them. 'If she comes willingly, I won't need to get forceful,' she said calmly.

“Don’t you dare lay a hand on her.” Nik said furiously.
“No need if you give her up willingly.” She countered. -
Natsuki looked from Nik to the agent as the two spoke, swallowing nervously.

Nik squeezed Natsukis hand comfortingly, and the foster agent walked even closer.
“Could you leave us alone?” Nik asked, getting even more angry. -
'Sorry kid, it's part of the job,' the foster agent said, not sternly but not softly either. 'You can visit her in the centre until she's taken in.'

“No.” Nikolai said stubbornly. “Not unless she agrees.”

'Kid, you gotta come with us,' the agent huffed, looking to Natsuki. 'You don't have a choice.'

Niks grip on Natsukis hand loosened slightly. “It’s your choice.” He said sadly.

Natsuki would've said no, but she knew she didn't have a choice. She clenched her jaw and nodded once, not wanting any more trouble.

Nikolai let go of Natsukis hand slowly, glaring at the foster agent again.

'Good,' the woman said, walking over to the four wheel drive with the foster logo on it and opening the door to the back seat. 'Step inside please, Natsuki.'
Nat looked up at Nik, fighting back tears before hanging her head and walking over to the car. -
Nikolai grabbed Nats hand, stopping her before wrapping her into the biggest hug.

Natsuki hugged him back, leaning her head into his chest, trying not to cry.

Nikolai kissed her on the top of the head, trying (and failing) to fight tears from coming.

Natsuki eventually pulled away, wiping her eyes furiously.
'Come on, kid,' the foster agent urged.
Natsuki didn't move, however, and continued looking up at Nik.
