Nikolai looked over at Natsuki. ‘How are you?’ He signed, grinning as he remembered how to sign it.

Natsuki smiled, both in amusement and happiness. She wasn't sure if she'd taught Nik how to sign "I'm fine" so she just gave the thumbs-up.

Nikolai grinned, walking over to Nat and sitting down. “Good.” He said quietly.

Ming grabbed a Luke Skywalker figure and turned it around in her hands boredly. Nat leaned against the wall, fiddling with her hands.

“So what’ve you been doing here?” Nik asked, growing curious.

Natsuki shrugged. They hadn't been doing anything except sleep, tell terrible jokes (mainly Leo had) and read stories to Ming.

“Well that was very insightful.” Nik jokes, laughing.

Natsuki smiled.

“Hmmmmm, well good news: you missed out on the most boring history lesson I’ve ever had in my life.”

Natsuki smiled half-heartedly. She hated history, but right now she'd choose double history lessons than stay in the centre.

“That’s a fake smile, I can tell that much.” Nikolai said, frowning. “What’s up?”

Natsuki signed, and Ming translated, 'She doesn't like being stuck in the centre.'

Nik groaned. “Of course you do, that was a stupid question. I’m sorry about the whole center thing.”

Natsuki leaned her head on Nik's shoulder, though didn't say (or sign) anything in response.

Nikolai wrapped his arm around Nat.
