Natsuki shook her head, sitting in the side of his bed. His parents would surely suspect something if they saw him not sleeping in his own bed, and anyway, she felt happier in his presence.

He smiled, sitting on his bed, next to her. “Thanks.” He said, not knowing what else to say.

Natsuki smiled back, pulling off her shoes and setting them down next to his bed, then sitting cross-legged on the bed next to Nik. She glanced back at him, unsure of what to do next.

Nik lay down on the bed, not laying down like he was going to bed, just laying down relaxed.

Natsuki lay down next to him, staring up at the ceiling. She glanced back to Nik and shuffled an inch closer to him.

Nik looked at Natauki, smiling and wrapped my arm around her.

(The next day, maybe we could do a scene at school where either Nik or Nat is getting bullied or something- as this point I'm running out of ideas 🙃)
Natsuki smiled and leaned her head on Nik's shoulder, closing her eyes. -
(Ooo, that’d be cool!)
Nik didn’t know when, but at some point he fell asleep. -
(Who do you want to be bullied?)
Natsuki, after around 10 or so minutes, fell into a deep sleep. -

The next day Nikolai woke up to find Natsuki still sleeping next to him, and he smiled before shaking her softly to wake her up. -
(probably Nat, as it would make more sense with the character arc)
Natsuki stirred, and woke in Nikolai's arms. She opened her eyes and wiped a bit of drool from her chin, then looked up at Nik. -
“Hey, it’s time to get up and get ready for school.” Nikolai said, looking at her.

Natsuki nodded in response and rubbed her eyes sleepily, then sat up slowly and glanced around the room. This time she didn't forget where she was, but was mostly startled by how small the room was compared to her own.

“Do you want breakfast?” Nik asked, sitting up. “And do you want to bring lunch to school?”
