Blaze smiled, and his blush got a bit deeper. "thank you, Claire." he says in a soft voice. -
(Yeah, they've known each other for less than a week.)
"I think I'm finally starting to get hungry," Claire murmured. "I'm going to go make some food before it passes." she stood up. "Do you want anything in particular?" she asked. -
(alright)
"i said i'm not hungry." He says, smiling -
"If you say so," Claire said. "But if you want, my kitchen is always open."
She headed into the kitchen and looked through the cupboards. Seeing a can of chicken noodle soup, she grabbed a large bowl, poured the can in, added some extra seasonings, and stuck it in the microwave. -
Blaze followed her and stood there, leaning against the wall, watching her.

"I didn't realize you were going to follow me," Claire chuckled.

"what, was I supposed to sit there alone?" Blaze says, fake pouting.

"Can't stand being away from me, huh?" she joked. "You just love my presence that much."

"maybe." Blaze says, half joking.

The microwave beeped and Claire took her hot soup out. Now that she was smelling the food she realized how hungry she actually was. "Do you like to cook?" she asked.

"a little, I know a couple recipes. Honestly, and i tell you this trusting you won't tell anyone else, but i also like to bake..." he mumbles.

Claire grinned at this information. "Don't worry, I won't tell," she said. "I'm the opposite, actually. I'm great at cooking but I can only do a little baking."I

"you'd better not tell anyone." Blaze says, trying to come off as tough again, crossing his arms.

"Of course I'd never want to compromise your big manly ma appearance," Claire teased.
