“That’s a great idea!” Claire said excitedly. “We could perform in the park for my birthday!” Blaze looks a little disconcerted at her quick wild reaction.

"I like the sound of that," Claire said. "Let's see how things go, we may just be the next stars of our city." -
(i'm just as confused as you are)
"maybe." Blaze smiles again. "just imagine it, me and you, running our own two person band." -
Claire smiled at him then saw the clock behind him. "Oh shoot I have to go," she said standing up. "Thanks for having me over."

Blaze stood up as well. "may i walk you home?" he asks, setting his guitar on the couch carefully, as a father would set a child down.

"No, it's getting kind of late, you should stay home and have supper, you're probably hungry," Claire said as she headed towards the door. "I'll be fine, it's still light out."

"i insist, Claire. my parents won't be home for a while." he says, following her. "i want to make sure you get home safe."

(What if on the way they run into some of his "acquaintances" from times past?)
She looked up at him. "Alright," she said with a nod. "I appreciate you caring that much." -
(dude that actually sounds cool, i'll make up some characters so i have them)
"of course. i told you i didn't want an angel like you getting hurt." he winks at her. -

Claire smiled and rolled her eyes. "Flirtatious as ever, aren't you?" she said as she began walking down the front steps. -
(wait are they good or bad? like friends that are actually nice or like guys who are friends with the 'bad boy Blaze'?)
"always, angel." he says, turning and locking his door, then bounds down the steps after her. -
(Bad, very bad)
Claire felt her heart flutter at his nickname for her.
Anyone else could have called her that but for some reason it felt special when Blaze called her that.
"I wonder what I missed in science class besides the lab," Claire said, looking down at her bandaged hand. -
"i dunno." Blaze says, a little distracted by two guys leaning on a light pole in the distance. one has medium length blonde hair, and the other had a buzz cut, both with tank tops and ripped blue jeans.

"Probably nothing much," Claire, said, not noticing the guys ahead of them. "And unless Mr. Pinter makes us do the lab over again I could get notes from someone."

Blaze then recognizes the two guys: James and Liam, not really good guys. "hey, let's go the long way instead." Blaze says.
