something caught Karentina's eye, and she looked towards it. "Olive...?" she walks over to a small circle of dead plants, where, in the middle, a small purple gem lies. "how is there another?"

Olive whistles. Ace has been summoned and he picks up the gems and disappears.

Karentina waves her hand over the circle of death, healing it. "two questions. one, what even are those things, and two, how did Ace hear your whistle-"

"One: I have no idea. Two: ✨Magic✨."

Karentina thinks for a second. "hey, we should go to the library to try and find out what it is!" she suggests.

"Good idea, let's go do that. ACE, CAN YOU DRIVE US THERE?!" Oliver hollers. Ace gives them a thumbs up, pulling up in his car.

Karentina follows Olive's lead, getting into the car. "nice car." she tells Ace.

"Money surprisingly is fantastic working in a popular carnival/circus, allowing me to get this Tesla." Ace explains.

Karentina looks out the window at the passing scenery. "i hope we can find something about those gems at the library."

"Who do you think would do such a thing, Tina?" Olive asks.

"probably someone Evil." Karentina says, shrugging.

"Well duh, but anyone you know in particular...?" Olive asks.

"no one that i can... wait, maybe the people Rhugien was with...?" Karentina says, eyes going wide.

"Perhaps. I have a few people in mind..." There is an edge to Olive's voice.

"like who?" Karentina looks at Olive, raising an eyebrow.
