"yes i am. i just want to see your beautiful smile." Karentina says.

Olive wipes away her tears, grinning. "Thank you." Olive gently squeezes Karentina in the hug.

"you're welcome, Olive." Karentina says, hugging Olive back.

"I hate to break up this lovely moment, but we've arrived at the library." Ace states, pointing out the window.

"Oh, alright." Karentina jumps out of the car and walks into the library. she waves to the librarian as she enters, weaving her way in between bookshelves to the black magic section.

"I've gone to this library so many times, and I had no idea that there was a black magic section in it." Olive says, following Karentina from behind.

"it's always been in the back." Karentina says, shrugging. "enchanting objects... summoning the dead... oh, enchanting gemstones." She pulls the giant book off the dust covered shelf.

Olive sneezes from the dust. "Nya-chu!" She sniffs, looking at the book. "Maybe we'll find out answer in there."

Karentina flips to the table of contents, her finger running down the lines. "here. page 247." she flips to that page, where a drawing of the death gems were.

"Oh geez, well that's not good," Olive obviously states.

"nope." Karentina read from the page, "'the Death Gem is the hardest to create, and will kill anyone who touches it except Dragonborn.' that explains why Ace could touch it and not die."

"Well if only dragonborns can touch it, the suspect must be a dragonborn, right?" Olive inquires.

"probably." Karentina says. "there isn't much about them on here. only that they will kill anything it touches, no matter what it is."

"How come the person keeps placing the gems only in the main areas of nature?" Olive ponders.

"That's just where we found them. They could be anywhere." Karentina says.
