"True. Do you remember seeing those crystals behind the waterfall? A huge death gem was merging there too!" Olive recalls.

"wait, really? why didn't you say anything?" Karentina exclaims.

"I thought you noticed...nevermind then." Olive flashes Karentina a sheepish smile.

"i was too busy with all those Emotion gems. those were cool!" Karentina says. "hey, should we go back to that cave to investigate? maybe bring some of the gems back with us?" she suggests.

"Yeah, we probably should. Want to go right now?" Olive asks.

"heck yea!" Karentina says, standing up and following Olive.

Olive nods, taking Karentina by the hand rushing out of the library and hops back into the car. "To the woods, Ace! And step on it!"

"hey, Ace. do you know any other dragonborns who could have made the death gems?" Karentina asks him.

"Only my stepfather from who I know personally, but he's dead... otherwise no, I do not." Ace answers.

"oh." Karentina says. she looks out the window, lost in thought.

"What's on your mind, Tina?" Olive inquires, tapping Karentina's shoulder.

"just wondering where they came from..." Karentina answers, looking at Olive.

"What if some otherworldly power dropped it there? LIKE ALIENS??" Olive mouth turns into a big O.

Karentina gasps, then bursts out laughing.

"Then science would know aliens are facts."
