my OC is Karentina, she's a high elf. she's a little shy and will try to run from social interactions but if you seem interesting she will talk to you :)
she has brown hair with golden brown eyes (one is a lighter shade, she has her hair covering that eye)

hm... how about in a forest of sorts, and we run into each other somehow?

Sounds good. I'll start.
Olive was roaming around the forest. Nature was always a comforting place to her. Once she found a nice, grassy spot to sit, Olive takes out her mini sketchbook. She puts her pet frog, Leif on a mushroom, and starts sketching him looking like a small amphibious hero. -

Karentina decided to go out in the forest to her favorite clearing with the new book she purchased. she was walking past the two cedar trees when she caught sight of another person sitting in the grass not far from the clearing. she hid behind a tree and watched carefully.

Olive, feeling like she's not alone, looks around then spots someone staring at her behind a tree. Olive flinches and calls out to them, "Hey! Don't be shy, I don't bite." She gestures to the person to come over.

Karentina looks around, making sure this other person wasn't talking to someone else. once confirmed, she stepped out from behind the trees, her forest green dress swishing in the wind. she doesn't say anything yet.

Olive gives the lady a kind smile. "What's your name? Are you here to enjoy the world of nature too?" She didn't want to bombard her with too many questions, but she was just so curious about this stranger!

Karentina looks at the other person. "i'm... Karentina" she says, a little quiet, but still able to be heard. "i... i had come out here to read a book..." she holds up the book and gives a shy smile. "may i ask what your name is...?" she questions.

"Ah yes, reading. Something I am fond of as well." Olive says with a comedically dramatic flair. She stands up and holds her hand out for a handshake. "Name's Olive Wyatt Lich. It's a pleasure to meet you, Karentina." Her smile widens, showing off her sharp canines.
