The little girl answers Ollie with a question. "Well, are you a friend or a foe? If friend, you don't have to worry about that. If foe, you do."

Disclaimer: The four who are the MCs in here, you can reply whenever you want, but preferably, instead of lots of progress of the story on one path, it'd be fantastical if you all answer every now and then when you can. :')

Ollie bit their lip. “Well, I hope I’m a friend. I’m not trying to be a foe. I swear I’m not plotting to kill anyone.” -
The lady smiles at Belladonna. "We have purple diamonds, Amethyst, lolite, purple sapphire, purple jasper stone, and purple tourmaline. Each one serves its own purposes, so choose wisely." She displays the gemstones before Belladonna with the meanings and properties below them.

"Great." Timothy plugged his nose. "Where are we going, anyway?"

The little girl nods, "Good, then you won't be a foe to us." She does a rhythm knock on the door which must've been a special code for something. The door opens, and the two enter. Fairy lights strung up on the ceiling, with an entrancing luminous glow. Flowers curled on vines, emitting a wonderful scent. You see a tall figure standing, looking out of the window. The girl kneels and yanks you down on one knee with her. "My Chief, I have found a wanderer on our grounds. What shall we do with her?"
The figure turns around, his amber eyes scanning you up and down, studying you. He approaches and circles you. "Who are you, and where do you come from?" -
The lady rolls her eyes, "Normally I'd say we'd go to my high-end apartment that my boss pays for, but kind of late for that now. We go to the nearest motel. I luckily know a place. C'mon." She leaps up onto the fire escape, climbing onto the top of the building. She looks down at Timothy. "Well, what are you waiting for? Are you coming or not?"

Timothy wearily follows, attempting to follow what she did. Sadly, his only athletic ability was in video games. He failed multiple times.

After carefully inspecting each one, along with their meaning and property, one stood out to her the most: purple diamond. Serenity, courage, and honor. That sounded like it suited her. "I think I'll take this one, please."

The lady was laughing her butt off at Timothy, wiping away a tear once he finally gets on her level. "Sheesh, if you're going to be struggling THAT MUCH, I hate to tell you that we'll be hopping from roof to roof."

The middle-aged woman smirks, "Duly noted. You'll be getting your reward once you help my niece and grandson find and mine some Painite." She flips around the Open sign to Closed and starts packing up the stand. Once it's fully stuffed into her humongous backpack, she gestures to Belladonna to follow her. About a half hour later, you arrive at nice hotel. "They're staying here." She gives Belladonna the room numbers which luckily, they were right next to each other. The woman hands you a key so you can stay there as well. "Good luck, and see you soon!" She just walks out and leaves you inside the huge hotel to find her grandson and niece.

Samuel sighed "Well, that's good enough." He walked to the couch, frantically jumping onto it.

Ollie gulped. They found the chief incredibly intimidating and had to resist the urge to go hide. "Um. I'm Ollie Perez... I come from America." They turned to the girl. "Also, if you don't mind... I go by they/them pronouns?" Ollie turned back to the chief. "I swear, though, I'm not out to kill anything."
